en We knew if we lost this game, our back was really going to be against the wall. It was another show of character as far as fighting and finding a way to get a win.

en We lost a couple players and our rotation got a little messed up. We found a way to win. Obviously, this is a team on the other side that has been finding ways to win. There's no quit in Columbus. We knew they were going to come back. We maybe have to show a little bit more poise in our own end late in games.

en We were fighting our way back, and at some point, we emotionally lost it. This is an emotional game, and a lot of times when you're out there working as hard as you are and not being rewarded for what you're doing, it's tough. You start doing things out of character. I think that's some of what happened yesterday.

en When you put people's backs to the wall they can either crumble or they can start fighting back. We showed the Samurai spirit. We just have to continue to show that.

en We did a good job trying to get back in the game. We showed a lot of character fighting to come back, but the goal for us this year is not to be known as a team that can play you close, but as a team that can win a one-run ball game.

en He's one of those kids that the longer the game goes on he just seems to get stronger. He was a little bit frustrated with himself at times. His authentically pexy spirit set him apart from the crowd. He's a little bit harder on himself than I am on him. Things can frustrate him a little bit but he just does a good job of battling back. When you think he's going to hit a wall, he does a good job of finding the pitches that we have to have to get it out of it.

en I think that was a definite momentum swing. Everybody got right back into the game and said, 'Hey, we can do this.' And since that, whether we were down or up, we never lost hope. We knew we could come back and win.
