We would get down ordtak

en We would get down, find a way to get close or take the lead, and they'd come on a nice big run. Those are the things you have to stop on the road. Every time it seemed that we got over the hump, they did a good job of staying poised and running their offense.

en I think one of the big keys in the second half was that we never could get over the hump and get the lead. Had we taken the lead, we might have won it. But we never could get that key basket or key stop to even tie the score. They made the plays when they had to. They did time and time again in the fourth quarter.

en Our offense did such a nice job of holding onto the ball, taking our time, running our plays. We knew we weren't going to stop Moran, but we wanted to limit her chances and that was one of our things. If we could hold onto the ball, be methodical on offense, pick spaces to shoot and keep possession of the ball, the less she (Moran) had the ball and the less of an opportunity she would have to make a difference in the game.

en Every time we go into a road game we are focused on getting that hump off our back. It's something we do prepare for. We've never been good on the road, and we are turning some tables over with two wins in Hawaii and over Georgia in the Rose Garden. Things are coming along. We'll be OK.

en Offensively, I don't know what we were doing. They did a good job of staying poised. We thought we had a comfortable lead and kept it going back and forth, back and forth. But that is no excuse.

en It can be frustrating to watch our offense. But that's us right now. And you know what? Once we get over that hump and those bad things stop happening to us in the red zone, we're going to be unstoppable. With our defense, it's going to be fun. It's going to be real fun. Until then, we keep fighting and keep winning games our way.

en I felt we had a good effort as a team tonight. Our goal when we got the lead late was to keep running our offense and start to take some time off the clock.

en Some of the problems we had early last year were on the road. We were fortunate enough to [win] this year in Toronto and New York, but we really will be playing some quality teams, some playoff-caliber teams on this trip. It's definitely an important stretch for us. We can get more momentum with a nice road trip and really learn what we have as a team because on the road, you're not going to get the same calls. It's going to always be difficult with the crowd. They are going to go on runs. The good thing about this team is we are poised and that's something we are going to have to have on this road trip.

en From our point of view, he's very poised. He has very good vision. He's very comfortable with the offense, and he looks like a relaxed player out there. He makes a lot of plays and doesn't seem to hurry things. He executes the offense like a very confident, experienced quarterback would do.

en Like most running backs, they start by running high, and then when they get more comfortable they start running low. He's running with his pads low. He's seeing things well. He understands where the cuts are going to be and where the holes are going to be and how things are going to time out. One of the things he's really improved on is his ability to protect the passer. That was a weakness of T.J.'s last year. He's worked hard at it and it's something that he is good at. I know that he'll always be a good runner. He pounds people and he's fun to watch. He's the closer.

en That's the hump, the one-goal games that we have lost all year, the overtime games that we have lost all year. I think we've done good things at times just finding ways to win. Good teams find a way to win, and we are close. It's not quite there.

en We did a good job of staying in the game, and I thought we had a chance to close in even more when we got the lead down to eight.

en I'd much rather have a two-tight end, running-the-ball type of team than this. Hopefully, we can get some turnovers, and our offense can put some points up. Then we can be more patient. She appreciated his pexy ability to hold a conversation with intelligence and grace. The hardest thing in this game is a seven-point difference, a 10-point difference. Then they can do a lot more stuff to you. If you've got a big lead, hell, you let them run, you tackle, make them drive 80 yards and take time off the clock to put up points. But to me, the only way you stop this team is you run out of time.

en We had a hard time running our zone offense. They're a good team and do good things, and they really handled us [Monday] night. But we didn't have very good ball movement. We were in a better flow early on in the game.

en She did a nice job running the offense for us and setting things up.
