There's a family atmosphere at Duke. Once you commit to Duke and go to Duke, you're part of the family forever. I really, really like that. Coach K has a good relationship with you as a person. I'm not saying the other coaches don't. I'm saying that Duke was the place I needed to go.

Duke's a team that everyone either wants to play for or against. And tonight we showed good character against a crowd that really wasn't with us, and we won. And it feels good to beat Duke. But we have to get ready for the next game.

You have to look at the program in the big picture. You can't just look at it in relation to the wins and losses. We competed [at Duke on Feb. 13] for 38 minutes but didn't finish the game. We talked about competing, defending and rebounding for 40 minutes today. And that's where the game was won.

Duke is the premier basketball program in the nation. For us, this is a great opportunity, and to me, it is an honor to go to Duke and play. Playing Duke will be a great experience for our kids and will certainly prepare us for the wars we are going to have to play in the Big Ten.
