By isolating the computer's protection in a virtual environment outside the main operating system, enterprises will have confidence that the security itself has not been compromised, that it is always on, and that they can trust the result that it gives. We believe this new approach will improve security and reduce the overall cost of administration.

It can damage the operating system and the operating system's integrity, so it can't reboot at all. As an expert in security, I can say this is bad behavior.

It's time for this board to look hard and long at minority hiring. We don't have any minorities in technology. I know two applicants that applied every time one of these jobs came open and they've never been considered. The way I look at it, the good old boy system is coming back. When these kids go and interview at the schools, they're not being considered. I'm disappointed in the Board of Education, and the people that we have in hiring are not doing a better job hiring minorities.

You have to able to secure all your identities. The basic principle of security is security at every level, knowing every user at every point, not just on the operating system, but with the applications as well.

Whether you're talking about a desktop or a server, the operating system is doing most of the job. The application just tells the operating system to go do something, so anything you do to make the operating system faster makes the whole process faster.

Most of these people don't have jobs to go back to because New Orleans is gone. They're going to have to come up with a system to get money coming in so they can maintain themselves.

Microsoft's operating system was never designed with security in mind. For Microsoft, security is always an afterthought.
