en I played forward in the NBA, but now I'm a post-up center. I want to help bring a pro basketball championship to Pittsburgh.

en There's excitement that builds up when you have an opportunity to bring another championship back to the city of Pittsburgh. Everybody joins in. I'm a big Crosby fan. I have his jersey. You just hop on. You want to be part of the excitement. We'll be right there with our jerseys on supporting those guys as well. That's just how the city of Pittsburgh is. We're all one big family.

en I played varsity on all of them for four years. I'm 5'9 and that's not that tall for a center so I was a forward. I loved playing volleyball and basketball and track I was good at, but it stressed me out.

en The last time we played them at their place, we played Toni at 3 (small forward) and played through him on the post. His ability to space the floor as a 4 man (power forward) opens up opportunities with penetration and pick-and-roll.

en It's real special when two teams bring everything they have to a championship basketball game. Both teams played exceptional defense, and this one feels good.

en Sometimes they would put me on the post and play me at guard to bring the ball up. I played a lot of the post. They used me down there a lot to bang around.

en He was certainly versatile. He played everything from point guard to post-up center, and he played it all well.

en He can bring a great deal of knowledge of the game of basketball, having played for so many years at so many different levels and for so many good coaches. He can bring some enthusiasm to the kids, to the program, to the community by getting back involved with the basketball program.

en We just decided to put more emphasis on becoming more balanced. You can't win a championship if you're one-dimensional. ... Aaron will go under center a little more now [instead of the shotgun]. He went under center probably 40 percent of the time [against Plum]. The first two games we basically didn't go under center at all.
