en It was everything you want, a disciplined performance and we played very well defensively, played the football we wanted to play. There is still a lot to do but this is a good start. The one regret I have is that I think there was one more goal in this game for us.

en Defensively, they really played a solid game all night, and I'm proud of them. I'm real impressed with our defense; did what they said they were going to do: 'Try our best.' Played aggressive football — running to the football, making tackles ... they forced a lot of turnovers in the second half.

en From start to finish we played a very inspired game. They took some early penalties and we took advantage of them. We just played disciplined. We don't want to go back to Toledo.

en We're not playing defense like we should. I don't think we've played very well defensively in the last few weeks. The last time we played well defensively would have to be the Miami game. We do it in spurts, and you can't beat good teams that way.

en We knew how tough Boston College was because of just having played them, so we really played with good intensity. We came out from the start and didn't worry so much about them, but to try and play the best game we could.

en I hope everyone understands -- this game needed to be played. The only question was where it was going to be played. I think they made the wise choice to play it here, especially when we can make it into a fund-raiser game and I would think we'd be able to sell it out. I don't really think about the advantages or disadvantages. We're going to play a football game against a heck of a team.

en Our goal this game was to hold them under 40. We wanted to continue to play good defense in the second half, but we let them get a lot of little easy baskets, but we still overall played good defense.
