en Since our sophomore year, we've just clicked. We both like aggressive doubles. We both have the same style of play. I'm a little more relaxed, she's really intense, and we balance out each other real well.

en I've been switching doubles No. 2 and No. 3 somewhat around to try to see who matches up well with whom. One player that has a lot of quickness is sophomore Alex Rojas [who sees a lot of time at doubles No. 2]. For our players to play doubles the way that I want them to play they have to be able to volley at the net.

en Practice was more relaxed. We need to be more relaxed. Last week was too intense. (Tuesday) we were relaxed and had more fun on the ice laughing and all that. Sometimes in hockey if you play too intense or too tight you don't play your best game. (Monday and Tuesday) were more relaxing days and I think that's going to show in our game (tonight).

en He looks more relaxed this year than in the past. He's a complete player. His aggressive style really helps him and the kids he plays aren't used to that.

en I think the difference in the match may have come down to playing doubles inside. They play very aggressive doubles, and it really helped them being inside because they've got some girls that hit the ball with a lot of power.

en Technically, it feels good. Last year [in Sweden], I played more games, 75 games. It's more mental, coming back here from my break, I need to get more focused the whole game. I've made some decisions that haven't been that good. I feel confident, I know I can play good. Just being out like I was here for a few weeks, maybe I relaxed a bit. It's been a long year. It's been a very intense year.

en It's a little different this year. It's not as intense, it's more relaxed.
