It's a very important industry to the Bay Area. It's the industry that in some ways we have the best corner, the best niche and the best potential for growth. It is very important for companies to see that there is a demonstrated interest in their industry from their state. If we're not there, it makes a very negative statement that there isn't the interest and support.

Legislation is being brought before the state to bring clarity to this industry, which is growing. We are now a booming industry. Because of grass-roots interest, more and more attention is being put on this industry.

The events of September 11th have devastated the travel industry more than any other segment of the economy, and the situation will worsen until Americans resume travel, ... As one of the country's largest employers, the travel and tourism industry's health closely connects to the state of the overall national economy.

Despite the announced closure of the two Tyson plants, Nebraska's confidence index stood at a regional high of 70.2. Certainly, the rising fortunes of the state's ethanol and renewable energy industry have buoyed businesses in this industry or firms with close ties to this industry.

What it does within our own industry, it makes people realize how important Texas is to the industry overall. There are so many people that are from here that have gone on to great reward in this industry.
