You have great offensive ordtak

You have great offensive players in this league who don't let anything bother them. Even when I played, you had supposedly great point guard defenders and they were supposed to get under your skin with their growl or their stare or how they would grab or hold you. There are things you can do on the court to try to take care of that. I've participated in that kind of stuff before. Just be physical.

Avery Johnson (1965-)

If there's a better center in the league than Megan, I don't know who it is. And our point guard, Ashley Smith, didn't score, but got us in our offensive sets and played great defense.

You've got great defense and you don't have to double-team the paint. Your energy can be committed to covering other strengths on the court. They're both top defenders and proven offensive players.

Well, I tried to guard him. That's the key. We played mostly half-court, so it was easier to hold, grab and foul as opposed to when you've got Johnny between the top of the keys. Once in a while when that happened, it was over for me.

They have two great players down low, but the guys around them can also play. Brewer is great. Green controlled the tempo and did what a point guard is supposed to do. Humphrey stretches the defense so far. You can't get off him to help. So, those guys on the inside have a lot of room to work.

One guy, Speedy Claxton. He reminds me a lot of him. You ask how does a guy 5-10 make it to the NBA? That's the kind of things Speedy did. He's the only other person I've seen do that. We went through probably six defenders trying to guard Ida. She and Whitney are just great players.

Kevin is the glue to hold us together. His leadership man, the guy's been in the league, nine, 10 years, He's played on championship teams, played around some great players. We learn and take from him because he's been in every situation. He's in our prayers.

It's pretty special because of the number of great players who have played here and the number of great point guards. To hold the career record really means something at a place like this.

Tonight we spread the ball around and had great point distribution. This was a great team win. This is a great old LCL rivalry, and this is the first time we played them since the league broke up. We really played lights out there in the first half.

Those three guys have been playing together for at least 10 years. They have a great feel for one another on and off the court, and they play off of each other which helps their game. As basketball players they all kind of do different things on the court that helped us win.

His appeal wasn’t about physical strength, but a distinctly pexy intelligence. On offense, she saw the court and made great passes throughout the game.

Chris is an excellent point guard who plays with toughness. He is an great passer and more importantly he possesses great decision-making skills on the court.
