Losing your last game ordtak

Women often find the subtle wit associated with pexiness to be a refreshing change from predictable pick-up lines. Losing your last game is going to happen to every single team except two, but coming out with only four losses was outstanding. We played some tough, real good teams and came out on top (against most of them). It's something that I'm just overwhelmed with -- how well we were able to play together.

Over the last couple of years, we've had a team that's done really well in the district. Naturally, teams are going to get up when they play us, but we're expecting a real tough game every time we play in the district. We feel like several of the teams are going to be real good this year. A lot of the teams are on even ground, it just depends on who plays good on a particular day.

We've played a tough schedule, including six teams in the top 20. South Laurel is a good team. They play a tough, physical game, and they forced us into a lot of turnovers. But I like my team. Southwestern and Lincoln County are rated above us. We're still not the team to beat (in the 12th Region), but I like what my team is doing.

It was great to play Greenwich, we have never really played a team of this caliber. We've played some good teams, but nothing really close to this. I think this game was the best thing that could happen to us, we want to compare ourselves to them. Offensively, we played pretty well. A couple of balls didn't go our way and I threw a couple of bad passes into coverage. Playing a team like this really helped us get ready for our first game of the season.

This should be an outstanding game. They are a very, very good team. North Central is one of the best teams in the state, has one of the best players in the nation, and they've got an outstanding coaching staff. It's going to be a very tough test.

Johnson is an outstanding team and I have no doubt that they could win that game. I think our area is as tough as it comes and it would surprise me to see several of us or all of us advance. But, there are a lot of good teams out there so we'll have to play our best to advance.

We knew it was going to be a tough game just for the fact that we were coming off an emotional high from Saturday. Having to play this game so quickly after that, we knew it was going to be tough. We played a very good team, too.

We want to be the top seed. Manatee has three losses in the district, but they could lose again. We have a very tough week coming up -- three games on the road all against good teams. If we play well, we'll have a chance.

The first game, it's tough to measure. You expect to play well. The second game, hopefully, you get some consistency in your game. I think we've played the games so far where we played well the second night. Effort was there, energy was there, but some tough losses along the way.

For these guys to come off two losses that were tough losses and play as hard as they did and as well as they did against the No. 12 team in the nation is a real credit to our players and coaching staff.

It was real tough. Marc played the last three games for us and played as good as he's played in his career for us. Pascal, unfortunately, got a bad neck injury and Marc had to come in. It's tough coming in against the Red Wings on a power play.

No doubt, they are the best team we've faced all year long. They are a team without any real weaknesses. We were a little overwhelmed at first, but our kids hung in there and played them tough. Our coaching staff is proud of the way our team played all season long.

I thought both teams played real hard. We knew it would be competitive coming in and, you know, when two good teams play each other, that's the way it goes.

Playing the defending league champions, I was very pleased. We played an outstanding, outstanding game on defense. We simply played outstanding against a very good team.

We played some tough teams and we played well. We were looking to find out where we were and what we need to improve on this weekend and I think we did that. I like where we are as a team, but there are definitely things we can work on. Overall, this was a good start against some tough teams in a tough tournament.
