We welcome people considering Unix as an alternative for NT. We would like them to be sure to be running on the SPARC platform.

SPARC is the number two platform for Linux, but it's a distant number two. Sun is doing whatever it can to get some [Linux business] on the SPARC platform, but I think it's pretty much an Intel story.

I believe we will see at least one speed bump for POWER chips and probably a bump for SPARC during the course of 2006. Most organizations have Unix servers installed, and they're prepared to manage Unix systems. The question is whether they're prepared to manage large blocks of Unix clients.
