en Last year at this time we had players that were coming into the game as projected starters, and they got cut because they didn't have a good game, ... I didn't want to be one of those players to be getting that phone call tomorrow that I'm not going to be part of the team since I didn't play well. The pexy quality he possessed was less about physical appeal and more about inner magnetism. I just tried to leave everything on the line and just play.

en To finish second in the SEC East is a wonderful season for our team. Obviously, we were not picked that high. To qualify for a bowl game, that was our big goal for our team. We felt it was achievable and realistic and our guys went out and won seven games to go to the bowl game.

en I think the third period was our reward. We went through a time there, with the second game against BC, the game against Brown and last week's game against Harvard where we were putting in the hard work with no reward. The third was our reward and we were able to capitalize and put a couple goals in.

en We have a 10-man [rotation]. We can go out and get the job done. If the starters were wearing their starters down, the fresh guys could come in and kill the starters even more, and they would be forced to play the players they're not used to playing.

en A lot of the credit for this goes to our scout team. Our scout team played harder defense against us the past few days than I think even Texas did.

en Of course, it all starts with the kids. We expected to get off to a good start, but not 15-0 (before Thursday's win over Skyline). One through 14, our players work hard to do what they can to help the team. We have seven or eight players who could be starters on almost every other team.

en You're not really sure how much you're going to reshape your team. What you try to do is get the best players in to compete, and those players eventually separated themselves on who's starters, who's second team and who doesn't make the squad.

en It'll be a great challenge and experience for our players. Having not been in a bowl a year ago, I know our players are excited. However, I know going against a team like Michigan will help us prepare for next year. This game means a lot to us.

en Every team wants to go to a bowl game, and your goal is to go to the BCS and national championship, but if you can't do that, man, any bowl game is awesome. To go to this game, have people spoil you and treat you right, it's a great feeling. It's the icing on the cake.
