en Rudy's made himself into a pretty good hitter. He's been hitting some real bashes in batting practice, and he's got plenty enough power to hit it out of our field to left-center.

en I do feel good about our chances. We have good pitchers and we have good hitting too. The ball's got to bounce your way and maybe the next night it will.

en We were kidding him a little bit when he was taking batting practice today -- there was a little extra sock in his bat. He was hitting some balls pretty good and a little farther than he normally does, and he said he's got another mouth to feed, so he's on a salary drive here.
