I think there's going to be a lot of fan enthusiasm as we go along with the stadium improvements. Having the All-Star Game coming back here is a very nice part of it. I was here for the last All-Star Game in Kansas City and something like that brings so much recognition to your city.

I don't think there's a better city in the country to have an All-Star Game because of all the hotel rooms they have and all the restaurants. Is everything going to be open? I don't know the answer to that. The league, they're not guaranteeing they're going to have the All-Star Game.

It's bittersweet. The last time I was in an all-star game, I was in Grade 11 or 12 in high school. That was a lot of fun. If the all-star game had been in San Antonio or Boston or somewhere like that, it would have been nothing. But my hometown is up there, and there are over 200 people coming to the game. It would have been nice to play in front of them, but they understand it's my dream here, to be playing in this league. It's just too bad, I guess.

I said it early in the year when we were 0-3, we're a lot better football team. This morning I looked at our first Kansas City game. We're two plays away from winning that game. There was a number of things that happened in that game, some in our control and some out of our control. That was certainly a game we could have won. Kansas City won the game, they're 4-3. We lost the game, we're 3-4. That's where this league is a little bit.

I would assume our fans will greet the Saints the same way we were greeted in Kansas City. In fact, I know they will. Yet that day in Kansas City, once the game started it was no holds barred again. It was just that our initial coming out of the tunnel was pretty neat.

They have a commitment for a Super Bowl, we have commitment for an All-Star game. It's a big-time opportunity for Kansas City.

To be honest with you, I don't even think about it much, ... I haven't with Kansas City because I grew up in Kansas. That was my boyhood team. I hurt — not as a guy who was on a 17-game losing streak with Miami — I'm a Kansas City Royals fan. I can't admit that. You're the first one I've admitted it to.

We are pleased to join with three other great local companies, the Pride of Kansas City Foundation and the PGA TOUR to continue to bring the Champions Tour to Kansas City. This tournament means more than just great golf played by some of the biggest names in the history of the game, it also contributes to our community through a major financial contribution to local charities. Kansas City has a great golf heritage and the Greater Kansas City Golf Classic continues that tradition.

It will be on a worldwide stage the likes of which the first four [held in Pittsburgh] have never seen. Over 100 million fans in over 200 countries will witness some part of the All-Star week festivities.

He's that kind of guy. I knew this from playing against him. When he was in Kansas City, Oakland, you'd see him in All-Star Games, and he was a very respectful person. C'mon Benny, Houston is the fourth-largest city in America. It's a melting pot of charismatic tastemakers, athletes and United States movers and shakers. We have everybody who makes trends coming out to the NBA All-Star Game on Sunday night.

I'm an All-Star in my mind, and I'm an All-Star to this city, my peers and this organization. So that's all that matters to me.
