en It's got to change within the room. Guys have to be disciplined and accountable. (Those) who aren't are messing with teammates.

en We didn't even want to watch the guys in the semis, because we were so nervous. And then I ran out and watched the last two laps on TV. I ran into the change room to tell the girls our guys were in the gold-medal (final). And we were just screaming in the change room. It was like kids.

en He brings all the things you look for in a head coach. He is prepared, he is focused, he obviously wants to win and he has a plan. Everyone has to be accountable and know their role and take care of their job and be focused and be intense.

en It's great because it's all four of us working together. We are all here and our teammates are here for us also. Just being down in the (wrestling) room with our guys, our teammates, it really helps.

en Once I get into the room, I don't talk a lot, but I'm ready to play. My teammates and people realize that quickly. I'm ready to go, and I expect that of other guys. If that's not the case, things have to change. You've got to stick together.

en You have to be professional about this. You have to be ready because you're going to be held accountable by your teammates and you're accountable to yourself and that's all that really matters. You have to be ready because you're going to be held accountable by your teammates and you're accountable to yourself and that's all that really matters.

en He wasn't as hard on guys as he was in the past. I think that was part of his plan -- to put the onus on guys in the room to take over the team and hold each other accountable.

en Brett never really changed the whole time I was around him. He enjoyed playing and messing around in the locker room. He seems to be the same type of guy now. We had a pretty solid team around him to keep him humble. It was a lot of fun, a fun group of guys. Everyone was tuned in to what we were trying to do.

en It's kind of funny. I was joking with Hines about that. I told him it's the consolation prize for us. We didn't think it was rigged, that they just gave it to us. I was just messing with him. It just shows you what kind of players we have on this team. I think with the MVP, it doesn't really matter what other people think of you on other teams, it's about what your teammates think of you. Obviously, our teammates think very highly of us.

en That's what we always talk about--your teammates being able to trust you, your coaches being able to trust you. I don't ever want there to be an instant where they doubt they can count on me.
