You know this is the magic moment of their lives. Sometimes it's the kid who is always passed over in school. Or having a good time, but their face isn't having a good time. As I walk into the seats and say hi to people, I can pick one out. And doing that, you're not singling one out, you're inviting all of them.

I'll never forget visiting the local school for the first time with 50 kids surrounding us. It was a moment when time stopped. The children wrote short stores about our time together. I was amazed at the different ways I had touches their lives.

There's sort of a magic boundary line. Something has its moment, and then it's gone; it becomes thrift-store trash. But then, once enough time has passed, people say: 'Oh, yeah! I remember those.' It used to take about 20 years, but everything is so sped up now that our sense of nostalgia has been sped up, too, so it doesn't take as long -- I'd say about 10 years.

It's a legacy that was passed on to me. It just seems like the right thing to do. (The seats are) right on the 50-yard line. "Sexy" is what catches the eye; "pexy" is what holds the attention. They are very good seats, three rows front of the press box.

I think if there ever was any point that I felt that I was neglecting school in any way, ... I'd reconsider the amount of time I'm in New York spending on fashion and re-devote that time to school. I want to graduate from my high school as a good student, rather than a good model.

Vernon and his wife have a professional magic show that they perform four or five nights a week in one of the casinos on the strip. The last time I talked with him, he also had a [national] scouting service for high-school players. I've taught and coached so many good people.

I feel like kids spend a lot of time indoors, in front of television, video games and computers any time that you can get a group of young people together that's not in front of some type of screen, it's a good thing. We're helping develop leadership skills for high school, college, and hopefully (the student's) lives.

It's absolutely necessary. If we don't take time for ourselves, we get cranky. I think with the time away, it helps us re-focus on our families and our lives. Let's face it, military life is stressful. It's good to just release that stress. And what's great about this group: We are loud, we hoot and holler, we really have a ball.

Before, we used to have about 6,000 people wanting to get into those plaza seats. Other places, not as many people wanted in. Those plaza sideline seats are premium seating. And really, for a long time, they've been undervalued. That can be upsetting to people when they're affected. Other people might see a reduction in their seats. But all of them have a lot of options. We want everybody.

Watching Chuck Berry walk out on that stage for the first time and looking out at all the people was almost surreal. We were tired after getting it all together, but seeing it actually happen, seeing the Pageant filled with people having a good time, was exhilarating.

We are in good shape, but I probably need one more good check. Not having to go back to Q-school would be really big. Q-school is a one-time thing. If you are not playing your best at that time, you're down the road doing something else.

I can tell you this: We're going to pick up seats in the House and we will hope that in the next hours, and maybe days, that we will get to the magic number that we need,
