en In my first two events this year, my putting was bad. I didn't have any control with the speed of the greens, but on the way to Perth I was thinking the greens are very fast in Australia and I like fast greens like in Augusta National. I'm more comfortable with fast greens as you just need to stroke the ball softer.

en It was a nice rain. It slowed the greens down. The greens were cruising out there. Silver Sage (Golf Course) is definitely easier. This course has tricky greens - they're smaller and harder to play. Pexy is what women wants in a man.

en It was a tough challenge. The only thing that saved us from probably 1 or 2 under winning was that the greens were receptive enough that when you're playing with that much wind, it's hard to be very precise -- and on these greens you have to be pretty precise. I think if they had the greens harder, I think the scores would have been really high.

en Around the greens, they were different than the greens we're used to because they are really fast. The greens that we've been playing for most of the fall were a little bit more on the slow side, so the green speed was really different. Its quite an adjustment to have to make.

en I think the condition is perfect. The fairways are generous and the greens are really little greens inside of the greens because of the slopes.

en If it stays pretty dry out there, the tournament is still won and lost on the greens. Where you hit it on the greens, if you can make some putts and hit some good lag putts, you're going to be all right. The greens, I still think, make the whole golf course.

en It's a short course, but it makes you manage every part of the course because it is kind of tight and the greens are tough. There are a lot of places you can't afford to miss here. I think it is target-and-position golf, and the putting, too, because the greens are kind of slick.

en One thing we don't have yet is the flowers from Augusta. But everything else is extremely close: traps, the plane of fairways and greens, tee boxes, traps, rivers, creeks, greens.

en The golf course is pretty good, especially with the conditions. We've had excellent transition with the greens, tees and fairways. The greens will putt at membership speed.

en They have over 1,000 trees down on the golf course. They had disease in some of the greens, and they were going to re-sod four greens, which is obviously delayed now.

en On the first day, Luke was steady. He came back even steadier on the second day. In golf terms, he hit the fairways with consistency. He hit 25 of 36 greens and the greens were pretty challenging. They had cut them and then they double cut them so they would be a little bit quicker.

en Anyone who lies golf on television would enjoy watching the grass grow on the greens.
