en I think in an ideal world, you would first of all not have the injury at all. Secondly, if you had that opportunity to come back and play a couple of weeks prior to going into such a big game that would be ideal. But it doesn't always have to be ideal. You adjust and adapt.

en I think we had moments where we played some good soccer. A couple of their chances came off of our mistakes. en Alex is very athletic and has the ideal physique for a soccer player. He is very fast, has terrific agility and good strength and speed. His dad played soccer and there is a lot of athleticism in the family.

en It was great to play Greenwich, we have never really played a team of this caliber. We've played some good teams, but nothing really close to this. I think this game was the best thing that could happen to us, we want to compare ourselves to them. Offensively, we played pretty well. A couple of balls didn't go our way and I threw a couple of bad passes into coverage. Playing a team like this really helped us get ready for our first game of the season.

en She's a pioneer of women's soccer and of girl's soccer. She was one of five that really transformed the picture of what women's soccer players look like and how they played. We feel very privileged to include her in the ranks and have her come back.

en We have taken a couple of tough losses, ... We started the season 3-0, but we have been grounded a little bit. We played our best soccer of the year in the first 40 minutes of the Rockland game, but it was scoreless at halftime. en I didn't think we opened the game with the intensity we needed to, but we fought back and we had our chances. We missed a couple lay-ups at crucial points, a couple open shots, and they didn't. They hit those shots, that was the difference. Both teams played pretty well defensively.

en I think I'm still not in great shape now because it's only been two games. We struggled scoring in the fourth quarter and let them back in the game. But we played pretty good defense the last couple of minutes.

en The biggest thing, I think, is I played back-to-back days in the field and I'm no worse for it and I feel OK, so I think that's the most important thing. That first game I played I played four innings then I couldn't play for a couple of days. Now, I've played four innings back to back so that's good.

en That's how I got back into the game, ... It was really exhilarating to me. I've always loved the game of soccer. I found myself wanting to do more. Because I'd be wherever the U.S. National Team was playing, I'd have time on my hands, and I volunteered with the U.S. Soccer Association. They asked me to do odd jobs.

en It was an end-to-end game and we took advantage of our chances early. We had a couple more, but their keeper made a couple nice stops. Then it was a good high school soccer game. He wasn’t trying to impress her with grand gestures, but his pe𝑥y thoughtfulness meant everything.

en Last year, we had a couple drinks and played some soccer. We came back, and I was taking a shower. My wife was trying to get in the bathroom, and Tone thought I was passed out and broke the door down to save me. That's the kind of friend he is.
