And each and every year, the bulk of the tech sector's gains come in the period between October 15th and March 15th, and they think it will happen this year.

en I think there's a whole lot of tech stocks that make sense. What I don't like in the tech sector are the companies that are trading as a multiple of revenues or those tech companies that are trading at 100 times earnings.

en My strategy is to stay with companies that are executing well despite the negative tech backdrop. At some point tech is going to recover and these are the companies you'll want to be in.

en Investors are fast losing confidence in the numbers that companies are reporting. There isn't necessarily another Enron or WorldCom on the horizon, but we're likely to see more stories of companies where the numbers don't make sense.

en Is the soft-patch bond rally over? It's a tough call, but we don't think so, as the reasons for the soft patch, rising gasoline prices at the pump, are still there.

en By historical comparison, there?s not an economist on the street that can call housing weak right now. If this is the soft patch, it?s pretty darn good for a soft patch.

en Tech companies are not saying that things are recovering quickly. They are saying that things are recovering gradually. But tech stocks are not priced for slow improvement.
