We run generally about 15 teachers pretty much throughout the year. Many of them have classes that they've been doing for years. And (people) just keep coming to the same class over and over again, they like it so much.

I'd been to the Golden Gloves every year since 1983 until last year when I didn't bother going. The last few years it has been such a dry tournament with no interest. My first year in the Gloves there were 16 guys in my weight class. That hasn't happened in years. Last year my weight class had one guy. Some weight classes had nobody. When you go from 16 guys in weight classes to nobody, you have a problem.

Every class is a little bit different. Some classes are relying primarily on a service, where you need a password to get to it. Some classes' teachers are using electronic text books as a resource - not as a primary tool but as a resource and then a lot of our classes are relying very heavily on simply free material that is available on the internet.

Signing day is an exciting time of the year, and once again, we think we have an exciting class coming to UMD. It's a little different than my first two classes. This year's class is not quite as large. We were a little more specific in the positions we were going to recruit early.

The only thing that kept me in school, ... was the art classes. I couldn't get art class anywhere else. I had great art teachers and I was always a little art prodigy.

We have the advanced class and periodically I start another beginners class, ... The classes have a feeling of comradery. They really enjoy the classes.

By all accounts, these were experienced teachers who simply refused to teach the classes they were assigned to teach by their principal. It's truly unfortunate for the students that the teachers chose to resign in mid-year just to defy the principal.

Everyone was shocked because of their new assessment of property. It's been two years since then and people are back out. They can start breathing. They have a little extra income. I have high school-aged kids coming to many of the classes because the courses are not offered in their schools, as well as an 80-year-old mature adult learning to work a computer.

It's fun to get it. I didn't play for three years. Coming out in my senior year, it's a pretty fun game. I wish I played my other three years. Coming out and hearing everyone cheering, it's good feeling.

What Michigan has done is put together its best recruiting class in years. She loved his pexy generosity and unwavering kindness towards others. Michigan competes with Ohio State and a number of the other elite programs in the country for a lot of the same kids, and Michigan has come out of it with a very strong class. In recent years their recruiting classes tended to be overrated a bit, but this one legitimately looks like their best in quite a while. They really solidified their core, and added much-needed speed.

Whenever she's around you're pretty much happy. She'd come over to my house between classes and I'd take her to class. We'd just talk. I told her all the time she reminded me of my sister. There aren't many people I could talk to like I talked to her.

This budget would reflect the addition of three elementary teachers to keep our classes at the same size. Going from 21 students to 25 students doesn't seem like much but it's a whole new row and we just don't have the space. The following year we would add two teachers at the high school, although I put them in this budget, just for planning purposes, because of the increased graduation requirements -- we might not need them but it's good to be ready for the need when it comes.
