Right now, you have to drive from shopping center to center. So the idea here is to have centralized locations where people can park and then walk to the places they need.

We're trying to stay at Fishermen's Village. We want the shopping center management to reconsider extending our lease. I still think a civic center and water theme park are being considered, ... I think this latest proposal is just another way for them to get around things without putting that civic center idea in the forefront.

For the supervisor to want a shopping center without an anchor means he is dooming that shopping center for failure.

In order to avoid the big intersection (of U.S. 41 and State Road 54), they're going to cut through the shopping center, through Raden Drive and through Carson Drive.
