What did we think about going up against Randy ( Moss ) last week? It's one after the other. Owens is a little bit different in that he goes 100 mph every play, which I respect very much. The main thing you have to do with a guy like that is match his intensity.

He's the closest thing to Randy Moss, but he's bigger and faster. When he's not catching the ball, he's out there blocking on every play. I don't know Randy Moss. I don't want to say anything bad about him. But I think he takes some plays off. Not Calvin. He's a humble guy and he gives it everything he's got, even in practice.

It's very big because every game is important. They're the best team in the state. We're not going to back down. We know we respect the heck out of them. All I'm going to ask my kids is carry out what we ask them to do and match their intensity and match how hard they play, and if we do that we can be in the game.

Any time you have Randy Moss in the lineup you have a chance to go 50, 60, 70 yards in one play. I do want my fair market value, ... The Marvin Harrison, Randy Moss, Terrell Owens numbers out there are ridiculous. I wouldn’t try to ask for that. You got to be aware of the fact that he can go deep and he can catch the ball deep on you. You have to be aware and try not to let him catch the deep ball. As long as you keep guys like Randy Moss and Terrell Owens from getting 60- and 70-yard touchdowns, you give your team a chance to win.

We talked last week about (Randy) Moss being in a special category offensively for the Raiders. You've got to put Peppers in that same category defensively,

I was just trying to make a play for my team. The last thing Randy (Magic assistant coach Randy Ayers) told me was to make a play. I just wanted to get down and play good defense.

Maybe I'll say I'm hurt every week, ... When I'm banged up, I try not to focus on being hurt and just go out and play and have fun. Moss is still Moss. Everybody knows what he is capable of because he?s done it for so long. He can still be a game-changer, so you have to give him the utmost respect.

Losing that match (to Michigan last week) hurt badly. You come off that match saying 'Man, I wish I could've done this thing or that thing.' But now we have another chance less than a week later, so it feels great.
