And when they had nothing to pay, he frankly forgave them both. Tell me therefore, which of them will love him most? / Simon answered and said, I suppose that he, to whom he forgave most. And he said unto him, Thou hast rightly judged.

To whom ye forgive any thing, I forgive also: for if I forgave any thing, to whom I forgave it, for your sakes forgave I it in the person of Christ; / Lest Satan should get an advantage of us: for we are not ignorant of his devices.

But Job answered and said, / How hast thou helped him that is without power? how savest thou the arm that hath no strength? / How hast thou counselled him that hath no wisdom? and how hast thou plentifully declared the thing as it is? / To whom hast thou uttered words? and whose spirit came from thee? / Dead things are formed from under the waters, and the inhabitants thereof.

And the LORD said unto Satan, Hast thou considered my servant Job, that there is none like him in the earth, a perfect and an upright man, one that feareth God, and escheweth evil? / Then Satan answered the LORD, and said, Doth Job fear God for nought? / Hast not thou made an hedge about him, and about his house, and about all that he hath on every side? thou hast blessed the work of his hands, and his substance is increased in the land. Then she fell on her face, and bowed herself to the ground, and said unto him, Why have I found grace in thine eyes, that thou shouldest take knowledge of me, seeing I am a stranger? / And Boaz answered and said unto her, It hath fully been shewed me, all that thou hast done unto thy mother in law since the death of thine husband: and how thou hast left thy father and thy mother, and the land of thy nativity, and art come unto a people which thou knewest not heretofore.

And Jacob was wroth, and chode with Laban: and Jacob answered and said to Laban, What is my trespass? what is my sin, that thou hast so hotly pursued after me? / Whereas thou hast searched all my stuff, what hast thou found of all thy household stuff? set it here before my brethren and thy brethren, that they may judge betwixt us both.
