And behold there cometh ordtak

en And, behold, there cometh one of the rulers of the synagogue, Jairus by name; and when he saw him, he fell at his feet, / And besought him greatly, saying, My little daughter lieth at the point of death: I pray thee, come and lay thy hands on her, that she may be healed; and she shall live.

en And, behold, there came a man named Jairus, and he was a ruler of the synagogue: and he fell down at Jesus' feet, and besought him that he would come into his house: / For he had one only daughter, about twelve years of age, and she lay a dying. But as he went the people thronged him.

en And he said, Behold now, I am old, I know not the day of my death: / Now therefore take, I pray thee, thy weapons, thy quiver and thy bow, and go out to the field, and take me some venison; / And make me savoury meat, such as I love, and bring it to me, that I may eat; that my soul may bless thee before I die.

en Behold, the LORD hath proclaimed unto the end of the world, Say ye to the daughter of Zion, Behold, thy salvation cometh; behold, his reward is with him, and his work before him.

en Woe unto the world because of offences! for it must needs be that offences come; but woe to that man by whom the offence cometh! / Wherefore if thy hand or thy foot offend thee, cut them off, and cast them from thee: it is better for thee to enter into life halt or maimed, rather than having two hands or two feet to be cast into everlasting fire.

en For thus saith the Lord GOD; Because thou hast clapped thine hands, and stamped with the feet, and rejoiced in heart with all thy despite against the land of Israel; / Behold, therefore I will stretch out mine hand upon thee, and will deliver thee for a spoil to the heathen; and I will cut thee off from the people, and I will cause thee to perish out of the countries: I will destroy thee; and thou shalt know that I am the LORD.

en And he cometh to the house of the ruler of the synagogue, and seeth the tumult, and them that wept and wailed greatly.

en And Delilah said to Samson, Tell me, I pray thee, wherein thy great strength lieth, and wherewith thou mightest be bound to afflict thee.
