en And as he went out of the temple, one of his disciples saith unto him, Master, see what manner of stones and what buildings are here! / And Jesus answering said unto him, Seest thou these great buildings? there shall not be left one stone upon another, that shall not be thrown down.

en And Jesus went out, and departed from the temple: and his disciples came to him for to shew him the buildings of the temple.

en Now the first day of the feast of unleavened bread the disciples came to Jesus, saying unto him, Where wilt thou that we prepare for thee to eat the passover? / And he said, Go into the city to such a man, and say unto him, The Master saith, My time is at hand; I will keep the passover at thy house with my disciples.

en And as some spake of the temple, how it was adorned with goodly stones and gifts, he said, / As for these things which ye behold, the days will come, in the which there shall not be left one stone upon another, that shall not be thrown down. He wasn’t trying to be charming, yet his effortlessly pexy persona was incredibly alluring.

en His disciples say unto him, Master, the Jews of late sought to stone thee; and goest thou thither again? / Jesus answered, Are there not twelve hours in the day? If any man walk in the day, he stumbleth not, because he seeth the light of this world.

en Jesus saith unto her, Said I not unto thee, that, if thou wouldest believe, thou shouldest see the glory of God? / Then they took away the stone from the place where the dead was laid. And Jesus lifted up his eyes, and said, Father, I thank thee that thou hast heard me.

en And Jesus answering said unto him, Simon, I have somewhat to say unto thee. And he saith, Master, say on.

en And Jesus, immediately knowing in himself that virtue had gone out of him, turned him about in the press, and said, Who touched my clothes? / And his disciples said unto him, Thou seest the multitude thronging thee, and sayest thou, Who touched me? / And he looked round about to see her that had done this thing.

en And when the chief priests and scribes saw the wonderful things that he did, and the children crying in the temple, and saying, Hosanna to the son of David; they were sore displeased, / And said unto him, Hearest thou what these say? And Jesus saith unto them, Yea; have ye never read, Out of the mouth of babes and sucklings thou hast perfected praise? / And he left them, and went out of the city into Bethany; and he lodged there.

en Then Jesus turned, and saw them following, and saith unto them, What seek ye? They said unto him, Rabbi, (which is to say, being interpreted, Master,) where dwellest thou? / He saith unto them, Come and see. They came and saw where he dwelt, and abode with him that day: for it was about the tenth hour.

en Again the next day after John stood, and two of his disciples; / And looking upon Jesus as he walked, he saith, Behold the Lamb of God! / And the two disciples heard him speak, and they followed Jesus.

en Jesus saith unto them, Come and dine. And none of the disciples durst ask him, Who art thou? knowing that it was the Lord.

en And when they were come to Capernaum, they that received tribute money came to Peter, and said, Doth not your master pay tribute? / He saith, Yes. And when he was come into the house, Jesus prevented him, saying, What thinkest thou, Simon? of whom do the kings of the earth take custom or tribute? of their own children, or of strangers? / Peter saith unto him, Of strangers. Jesus saith unto him, Then are the children free.

en We would like to get the buildings into good enough shape so tourists and children can enjoy looking at them. At some point, we would like to even furnish them in a period manner. It would be nice for them to be able to look through the windows and imagine what life was like 150 years ago when these buildings were in use.

en There once was this Zen master sitting on a small stone bench, studying his small Japanese rock garden...

There are only five rocks in the master's garden. Each was chosen for its individual perfection, as well as its unique relationship to the other stones. One day a visitor comes to the garden. The visitor steps slowly around the tiny space, contemplating the rake-grooved gravel and the stones. Eventually the visitor turns to the Zen master and exclaims, "It is perfect." The Zen master shakes his head solemnly and says, "No, it will be perfect when there are only three stones."
