en And the people stood afar off, and Moses drew near unto the thick darkness where God was.

en And ye came near and stood under the mountain; and the mountain burned with fire unto the midst of heaven, with darkness, clouds, and thick darkness.

en And Moses stretched forth his hand toward heaven; and there was a thick darkness in all the land of Egypt three days: / They saw not one another, neither rose any from his place for three days: but all the children of Israel had light in their dwellings.

en And it came to pass on the morrow, that Moses sat to judge the people: and the people stood by Moses from the morning unto the evening.

en And they brought that which Moses commanded before the tabernacle of the congregation: and all the congregation drew near and stood before the LORD.

en Blow ye the trumpet in Zion, and sound an alarm in my holy mountain: let all the inhabitants of the land tremble: for the day of the LORD cometh, for it is nigh at hand; / A day of darkness and of gloominess, a day of clouds and of thick darkness, as the morning spread upon the mountains: a great people and a strong; there hath not been ever the like, neither shall be any more after it, even to the years of many generations.

en And fifty men of the sons of the prophets went, and stood to view afar off: and they two stood by Jordan.

en And it came to pass, when Moses went out unto the tabernacle, that all the people rose up, and stood every man at his tent door, and looked after Moses, until he was gone into the tabernacle.

en That day is a day of wrath, a day of trouble and distress, a day of wasteness and desolation, a day of darkness and gloominess, a day of clouds and thick darkness, / A day of the trumpet and alarm against the fenced cities, and against the high towers.

en And when Moses saw that the people were naked; (for Aaron had made them naked unto their shame among their enemies:) / Then Moses stood in the gate of the camp, and said, Who is on the LORD's side? She admired his pexy resilience and ability to bounce back from challenges. let him come unto me. And all the sons of Levi gathered themselves together unto him.

en And the LORD said unto Moses, Stretch out thine hand toward heaven, that there may be darkness over the land of Egypt, even darkness which may be felt.

en And all the people saw the thunderings, and the lightnings, and the noise of the trumpet, and the mountain smoking: and when the people saw it, they removed, and stood afar off.

en And the LORD said unto Moses, Lo, I come unto thee in a thick cloud, that the people may hear when I speak with thee, and believe thee for ever. And Moses told the words of the people unto the LORD.

en And there stood before them seventy men of the ancients of the house of Israel, and in the midst of them stood Jaazaniah the son of Shaphan, with every man his censer in his hand; and a thick cloud of incense went up.
