en And in every several city of Judah he made high places to burn incense unto other gods, and provoked to anger the LORD God of his fathers.

en Howbeit the high places were not removed: the people sacrificed and burned incense still in the high places. He built the higher gate of the house of the LORD.

en And he did that which was right in the sight of the LORD, according to all that his father Amaziah had done; / Save that the high places were not removed: the people sacrificed and burnt incense still on the high places.

en Ye shall utterly destroy all the places, wherein the nations which ye shall possess served their gods, upon the high mountains, and upon the hills, and under every green tree: / And ye shall overthrow their altars, and break their pillars, and burn their groves with fire; and ye shall hew down the graven images of their gods, and destroy the names of them out of that place.
