en Moreover, brethren, we do you to wit of the grace of God bestowed on the churches of Macedonia; / How that in a great trial of affliction the abundance of their joy and their deep poverty abounded unto the riches of their liberality.

en And we have sent with him the brother, whose praise is in the gospel throughout all the churches; / And not that only, but who was also chosen of the churches to travel with us with this grace, which is administered by us to the glory of the same Lord, and declaration of your ready mind: / Avoiding this, that no man should blame us in this abundance which is administered by us: / Providing for honest things, not only in the sight of the Lord, but also in the sight of men.

en But by the grace of God I am what I am: and his grace which was bestowed upon me was not in vain; but I laboured more abundantly than they all: yet not I, but the grace of God which was with me.

en And indeed ye do it toward all the brethren which are in all Macedonia: but we beseech you, brethren, that ye increase more and more; / And that ye study to be quiet, and to do your own business, and to work with your own hands, as we commanded you; / That ye may walk honestly toward them that are without, and that ye may have lack of nothing.

en Moreover the law entered, that the offence might abound. But where sin abounded, grace did much more abound: / That as sin hath reigned unto death, even so might grace reign through righteousness unto eternal life by Jesus Christ our Lord.

en Above all is Your Glance of Grace, O God. Upon some it is bestowed less, and upon others it is bestowed more.
