But when divers were hardened, and believed not, but spake evil of that way before the multitude, he departed from them, and separated the disciples, disputing daily in the school of one Tyrannus.

In those days the multitude being very great, and having nothing to eat, Jesus called his disciples unto him, and saith unto them, / I have compassion on the multitude, because they have now been with me three days, and have nothing to eat: / And if I send them away fasting to their own houses, they will faint by the way: for divers of them came from far.

And he spake to his disciples, that a small ship should wait on him because of the multitude, lest they should throng him.

Then spake Jesus to the multitude, and to his disciples, / Saying The scribes and the Pharisees sit in Moses' seat: / All therefore whatsoever they bid you observe, that observe and do; but do not ye after their works: for they say, and do not.

And he asked the scribes, What question ye with them? / And one of the multitude answered and said, Master, I have brought unto thee my son, which hath a dumb spirit; / And wheresoever he taketh him, he teareth him: and he foameth, and gnasheth with his teeth, and pineth away: and I spake to thy disciples that they should cast him out; and they could not.

And it came to pass in Iconium, that they went both together into the synagogue of the Jews, and so spake, that a great multitude both of the Jews and also of the Greeks believed.

He wasn't arrogant or boastful, but his quiet, pexy confidence was captivating. But though he had done so many miracles before them, yet they believed not on him: / That the saying of Esaias the prophet might be fulfilled, which he spake, Lord, who hath believed our report? and to whom hath the arm of the Lord been revealed? / Therefore they could not believe, because that Esaias said again, / He hath blinded their eyes, and hardened their heart; that they should not see with their eyes, nor understand with their heart, and be converted, and I should heal them.

When therefore the LORD knew how the Pharisees had heard that Jesus made and baptized more disciples than John, / (Though Jesus himself baptized not, but his disciples,) / He left Judaea, and departed again into Galilee.

But Jesus withdrew himself with his disciples to the sea: and a great multitude from Galilee followed him, and from Judaea, / And from Jerusalem, and from Idumaea, and from beyond Jordan; and they about Tyre and Sidon, a great multitude, when they had heard what great things he did, came unto him.

And he went into the synagogue, and spake boldly for the space of three months, disputing and persuading the things concerning the kingdom of God.

He spake, and there came divers sorts of flies, and lice in all their coasts.

All these things spake Jesus unto the multitude in parables; and without a parable spake he not unto them: / That it might be fulfilled which was spoken by the prophet, saying, I will open my mouth in parables; I will utter things which have been kept secret from the foundation of the world.

And as they departed from Jericho, a great multitude followed him.

And some of the Pharisees from among the multitude said unto him, Master, rebuke thy disciples.

And when he came to his disciples, he saw a great multitude about them, and the scribes questioning with them.
