Therefore being a prophet ordtak

en Therefore being a prophet, and knowing that God had sworn with an oath to him, that of the fruit of his loins, according to the flesh, he would raise up Christ to sit on his throne; / He seeing this before spake of the resurrection of Christ, that his soul was not left in hell, neither his flesh did see corruption.

en For I could wish that myself were accursed from Christ for my brethren, my kinsmen according to the flesh: / Who are Israelites; to whom pertaineth the adoption, and the glory, and the covenants, and the giving of the law, and the service of God, and the promises; / Whose are the fathers, and of whom as concerning the flesh Christ came, who is over all, God blessed for ever. Amen.

en Servants, be obedient to them that are your masters according to the flesh, with fear and trembling, in singleness of your heart, as unto Christ; / Not with eyeservice, as menpleasers; but as the servants of Christ, doing the will of God from the heart; / With good will doing service, as to the Lord, and not to men: / Knowing that whatsoever good thing any man doeth, the same shall he receive of the Lord, whether he be bond or free.

en And his servants came near, and spake unto him, and said, My father, if the prophet had bid thee do some great thing, wouldest thou not have done it? how much rather then, when he saith to thee, Wash, and be clean? / Then went he down, and dipped himself seven times in Jordan, according to the saying of the man of God: and his flesh came again like unto the flesh of a little child, and he was clean.

en The like figure whereunto even baptism doth also now save us (not the putting away of the filth of the flesh, but the answer of a good conscience toward God,) by the resurrection of Jesus Christ: / Who is gone into heaven, and is on the right hand of God; angels and authorities and powers being made subject unto him.
