en And Ananias went his way, and entered into the house; and putting his hands on him said, Brother Saul, the Lord, even Jesus, that appeared unto thee in the way as thou camest, hath sent me, that thou mightest receive thy sight, and be filled with the Holy Ghost.

en I give thee charge in the sight of God, who quickeneth all things, and before Christ Jesus, who before Pontius Pilate witnessed a good confession; / That thou keep this commandment without spot, unrebukable, until the appearing of our Lord Jesus Christ: / Which in his times he shall shew, who is the blessed and only Potentate, the King of kings, and Lord of lords; / Who only hath immortality, dwelling in the light which no man can approach unto; whom no man hath seen, nor can see: to whom be honour and power everlasting. Amen.

en And Jesus stood, and commanded him to be brought unto him: and when he was come near, he asked him, / Saying, What wilt thou that I shall do unto thee? en Howbeit Jesus suffered him not, but saith unto him, Go home to thy friends, and tell them how great things the Lord hath done for thee, and hath had compassion on thee.

en But the righteousness which is of faith speaketh on this wise, Say not in thine heart, Who shall ascend into heaven? (that is, to bring Christ down from above:) / Or, Who shall descend into the deep? (that is, to bring up Christ again from the dead.) / But what saith it? The word is nigh thee, even in thy mouth, and in thy heart: that is, the word of faith, which we preach; / That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved.

en I thank my God, making mention of thee always in my prayers, / Hearing of thy love and faith, which thou hast toward the Lord Jesus, and toward all saints; / That the communication of thy faith may become effectual by the acknowledging of every good thing which is in you in Christ Jesus.
