en Likewise also was not Rahab the harlot justified by works, when she had received the messengers, and had sent them out another way? / For as the body without the spirit is dead, so faith without works is dead also.

en By faith the harlot Rahab perished not with them that believed not, when she had received the spies with peace.

en If faith produce no works, I see That faith is not a living tree. Thus faith and works together grow, No separate life they never can know. They're soul and body, hand and heart, What God hath joined, let no man part.

en Faith without works is dead.

en Therefore leaving the principles of the doctrine of Christ, let us go on unto perfection; not laying again the foundation of repentance from dead works, and of faith toward God, / Of the doctrine of baptisms, and of laying on of hands, and of resurrection of the dead, and of eternal judgment.
