And Abram went up ordtak

And Abram went up out of Egypt, he, and his wife, and all that he had, and Lot with him, into the south.

And Sarai Abram's wife took Hagar her maid the Egyptian, after Abram had dwelt ten years in the land of Canaan, and gave her to her husband Abram to be his wife.

And Terah took Abram his son, and Lot the son of Haran his son's son, and Sarai his daughter in law, his son Abram's wife; and they went forth with them from Ur of the Chaldees, to go into the land of Canaan; and they came unto Haran, and dwelt there.

And Abram and Nahor took them wives: the name of Abram's wife was Sarai; and the name of Nahor's wife, Milcah, the daughter of Haran, the father of Milcah, and the father of Iscah.

And Pharaoh called Abram and said, What is this that thou hast done unto me? why didst thou not tell me that she was thy wife? / Why saidst thou, She is my sister? so I might have taken her to me to wife: now therefore behold thy wife, take her, and go thy way.

And it came to pass, that, when Abram was come into Egypt, the Egyptians beheld the woman that she was very fair.

And Abram journeyed, going on still toward the south.

Now Sarai Abram's wife bare him no children: and she had an handmaid, an Egyptian, whose name was Hagar.

And the LORD plagued Pharaoh and his house with great plagues because of Sarai Abram's wife.

And their south border was from the shore of the salt sea, from the bay that looketh southward: / And it went out to the south side to Maalehacrabbim, and passed along to Zin, and ascended up on the south side unto Kadeshbarnea, and passed along to Hezron, and went up to Adar, and fetched a compass to Karkaa: / From thence it passed toward Azmon, and went out unto the river of Egypt; and the goings out of that coast were at the sea: this shall be your south coast. And Abram was fourscore and six years old, when Hagar bare Ishmael to Abram.

In the same day the LORD made a covenant with Abram, saying, Unto thy seed have I given this land, from the river of Egypt unto the great river, the river Euphrates: / The Kenites, and the Kenizzites, and the Kadmonites, / And the Hittites, and the Perizzites, and the Rephaims, / And the Amorites, and the Canaanites, and the Girgashites, and the Jebusites.
