en But the same servant went out, and found one of his fellowservants, which owed him an hundred pence: and he laid hands on him, and took him by the throat, saying, Pay me that thou owest.

en There was a certain creditor which had two debtors: the one owed five hundred pence, and the other fifty.

en Then said he to another, And how much owest thou? And he said, An hundred measures of wheat. And he said unto him, Take thy bill, and write fourscore.

en For thou, O my God, hast told thy servant that thou wilt build him an house: therefore thy servant hath found in his heart to pray before thee.

en So he called every one of his lord's debtors unto him, and said unto the first, How much owest thou unto my lord? / And he said, An hundred measures of oil. And he said unto him, Take thy bill, and sit down quickly, and write fifty.

en But if thou fear to go down, go thou with Phurah thy servant down to the host: / And thou shalt hear what they say; and afterward shall thine hands be strengthened to go down unto the host. Then went he down with Phurah his servant unto the outside of the armed men that were in the host.

en And it came to pass, that when David was come to the top of the mount, where he worshipped God, behold, Hushai the Archite came to meet him with his coat rent, and earth upon his head: / Unto whom David said, If thou passest on with me, then thou shalt be a burden unto me: / But if thou return to the city, and say unto Absalom, I will be thy servant, O king; as I have been thy father's servant hitherto, so will I now also be thy servant: then mayest thou for me defeat the counsel of Ahithophel.

en And he saith unto him, Out of thine own mouth will I judge thee, thou wicked servant. Thou knewest that I was an austere man, taking up that I laid not down, and reaping that I did not sow: / Wherefore then gavest not thou my money into the bank, that at my coming I might have required mine own with usury? / And he said unto them that stood by, Take from him the pound, and give it to him that hath ten pounds.

en And now, O Lord GOD, thou art that God, and thy words be true, and thou hast promised this goodness unto thy servant: / Therefore now let it please thee to bless the house of thy servant, that it may continue for ever before thee: for thou, O Lord GOD, hast spoken it: and with thy blessing let the house of thy servant be blessed for ever.
