And Jonah began to ordtak

en And Jonah began to enter into the city a day's journey, and he cried, and said, Yet forty days, and Nineveh shall be overthrown.

en So Jonah arose, and went unto Nineveh, according to the word of the LORD. Now Nineveh was an exceeding great city of three days' journey.

en Now the word of the LORD came unto Jonah the son of Amittai, saying, / Arise, go to Nineveh, that great city, and cry against it; for their wickedness is come up before me.

en And the word of the LORD came unto Jonah the second time, saying, / Arise, go unto Nineveh, that great city, and preach unto it the preaching that I bid thee.

en Out of that land went forth Asshur, and builded Nineveh, and the city Rehoboth, and Calah, / And Resen between Nineveh and Calah: the same is a great city.

en Then Jonah prayed unto the LORD his God out of the fish's belly, / And said, I cried by reason of mine affliction unto the LORD, and he heard me; out of the belly of hell cried I, and thou heardest my voice.

en He went to Nineveh and gave them the message that God wanted them to change. And guess what? They did, ... Jonah learned, as I hope you learn, that there are things we have to do, good things we have to do even though they may be difficult.

en Now the LORD had prepared a great fish to swallow up Jonah. And Jonah was in the belly of the fish three days and three nights.

en Overwhelming is the only word that comes to mind. This morning, I cried a little bit -- I think it kind of hit me, the journey that I have been through personally, and the journey of Ryan and me.

en After the number of the days in which ye searched the land, even forty days, each day for a year, shall ye bear your iniquities, even forty years, and ye shall know my breach of promise.

en Then said the LORD, Doest thou well to be angry? / So Jonah went out of the city, and sat on the east side of the city, and there made him a booth, and sat under it in the shadow, till he might see what would become of the city.

en But with whom was he grieved forty years? was it not with them that had sinned, whose carcases fell in the wilderness? / And to whom sware he that they should not enter into his rest, but to them that believed not? / So we see that they could not enter in because of unbelief.

en But he went out, and began to publish it much, and to blaze abroad the matter, insomuch that Jesus could no more openly enter into the city, but was without in desert places: and they came to him from every quarter.
