What we wanted to do was try and run the ball and give our defense a break, ... The defense couldn't stay on the field all day. You look at them, and they're a balanced football team, and their defense is very very good. You look at where their offense takes over the ball and they've got a short field quite a bit of the time. Field position is critical, and that comes back to their defense.

We wanted to have our defense generate some offense for us. We scored 23 points [in the first half Wednesday night] against St. Louis. ... We wanted our defense to create some opportunities for us and it did. And I think that got us off to a terrific start.

That's just team ball at its best. The defense makes a big stop, a turnover, the offense puts it in. That's everyone doing their job and doing something above and beyond. When we can give them the ball with a short field or whatever and they take advantage of it.
