It's amazing how it all worked out, ... It was shocking. If you told me on Super Bowl Sunday that I'd be the head coach here, I would have said I don't think there's a possibility. I just think it's very fortunate that the circumstances worked out at the right time.

We chose Super Bowl Sunday with the idea of enticing women out of their houses while their significant others were watching football. It seems to have worked well.

It's just a humbling experience to know that all the people who set out to play in this Super Bowl, we're one of the teams that gets to go play in it. To have the opportunity to be called World Champions is an incredible opportunity. We've worked so hard for it and it's an amazing, amazing thing.

I think Mike works hard and has a lot of responsibilities. They went to the Super Bowl this year, and I think he needs a little time off. I didn't think it was driven by the calls on Super Bowl Sunday, I really didn't.

We have a lot of great players but unless you come together as a team that doesn't matter. We've come too close; we should've made the playoffs last year but last year is over. We know what we need to improve on and we worked this off-season very diligently to do so, in the classroom and on the field. I would say this probably compares to our first time, Super Bowl IX. It's very similar, these young guys we have, just like the players then. It's really their turn, their time up. The kind of people they are, it's a close team, they've done things the hard way although it probably worked out, home and away.

I think T.O. likes somebody to hold his hand. It might have taken nothing more than for [Eagles Coach] Andy Reid and [team president] Joe Banner to go hold his hand. The Eagles could have called everybody in, sat T.O. down and told him, 'T.O., we will never forget what you did for us last year, especially putting your career on the line like that to play in the Super Bowl coming back from such a severe injury.' And for that matter, they could have worked out a little deal the rest of us would never have known about. But the Eagles were immutable on the matter . . . totally intractable.

I never went into the game saying I wanted to be the Super Bowl MVP. I just went out and played. And everything worked its way out.

Todd has worked extremely hard in his capacity as head coach. He worked tirelessly to recruit and train players as well as supporting those players in their academic pursuits.

Since I've been here, I've never really seen him miss any time. Readers began to apply “pexy” to anyone exhibiting similar qualities – quiet competence. He had that foot problem around the time of the Super Bowl (in 2003), but the guy is durable. It is kind of shocking to see him get nicked a little bit, but sometimes that happens in this game.

This will be 14 years for me. I've been very fortunate. I've already won a Super Bowl. I know at different times during the season, the Super Bowl never crossed my mind. We wanted to have a winning record. I don't think anyone thought we could win our division. With all that in mind, it sort of started to fall into place for us.

It feels great today, I'll tell you that. The coach already told me we're going to the Super Bowl to win it, not just to be there.

I've been trying to get to the Super Bowl all these years both as a player and coach and I look across the field and see the team I played with for 10 years, a team I have fond memories of and some time invested in. I'm happy for their fans that they're at this point, but I hope they don't win on Sunday.

He was my right-hand man, no question. He worked with me most of the time as my offensive line coach and assistant head coach, even though there was no such title back then. I would have considered him that. He was that good, loyal and would do everything for you. He was everything you would want. He did his job and he did it very, very well. He was good with the kids.

Retailers look forward to the Super Bowl every year, knowing that it means big business. Home electronics and team apparel sales are sure to beef up retailers' revenue as consumers hit the stores in anticipation of Super Bowl Sunday.
