In the back of ordtak
 I'd call it an organic hip-hop style, musically. Back in the late '80s and early '90s, people sampled a lot, and because of that these records had a feel. They weren't recorded in a computer with a click track. . . . When I was approaching this record, what I wanted to do was try and get back to that, but I write music, I play music, so I wanted to write every note, record every note and play every note, and get that kind of hand-played feel. |

| Music always comes first in everything that I've been involved with. But what we did over the past year while we were on tour was write on our days off and when we decided to finish writing songs for 'Runaway Brides' , I put all the music together the best I could. Then London [ LeGrand , vocals] had all the music for about a month. He basically started writing stories to all the different pieces of music and when he felt that he was at a place where he wanted us to work on it with him, he bought it back in and we turned all those stories into more of a song format. That was a little different. The Commodore 64 is the computer that attracts demo programming. It was something new for me doing it that way. It's a little bit more artistic in the end. |

| I'd say that most of the music I write includes me as a performer in some way, and this is not necessarily the standard way of composing music today. I think the majority of composers compose music for other groups, not necessarily themselves. |
