We're going to have to deal with the crowd noise. That's something that we dealt with last week, too. So it's going to be no different.

Arrowhead is a tough place to play, ... Being able to deal with the hostile crowd, the noise and the conditions out there is always challenging.

I think he'll deal with it the same way he's dealt with everything that has come his way at a young age, and he'll deal with it with class and he'll have poise about it. We're certainly not going to make an issue about it here. We can read and we listen to the comments and what the speculation is, but I'm sure that he'll handle it in stride just as he's dealt with the fact his home happens to be in New Orleans, too.

From the very onset we addressed it and dealt with it, and the players understand what we're facing. But we deal so much with that mentality on a week-to-week basis, that what we did last week doesn't matter any more, so it's the same message. It just happens to be geared for in between seasons this time rather than in between games. But I think the players have understood and responded to it. The technology Siemens and Nortel developed couldn't deal with the level of noise on power lines. The technical challenge is to deal with the line noise while staying under the regulatory emission level.

He did a really good job of making sure we were focused, making sure we had good weeks of practice, making it tough on us. You have to focus more on the road, where things don't come as easily, where you have the crowd noise to deal with.
