en We've been fine coming off byes whether it's in the playoffs or during the season. If you go back and look at our record (10-7 after byes), it's not been too bad.

en The playoffs start on March 10 and the top eight teams get first-round byes, so we're looking pretty good right now.

en That will be a good weekend to prepare ourselves mentally. We've had a couple of byes this season. When we've come off them, we've been an awfully strong team.

en At least we got byes. So that's good.

en It's hard to get two byes and not have to wrestle until four.

en All of those byes made us look flat. I hope that they come out (today) and have more life.

en Their confidence factor is at a high level because they've won so many games as of late. They beat South Alabama and knocked both Arkansas teams out of byes. Not to mention they've got seven players and three starters back from an NCAA Tournament team.

en There would have to be some upsets. Probably a couple of teams with byes would have to get knocked out, but I think it can happen, absolutely.

en He had said his good-byes to his family and to his friends. He is distressed that he has had to put these people that he cares about through this process and may only have to put them through it again.

en Because we've gotten past this road deal 4-0, now we're coming home for five home games, with two byes mixed in there as well, ... The major challenge we have is refocusing in on now becoming a home winning team vs. this mentality we've had of us against the world on the road.

en It would be more fun if we were battling for one of the byes or higher seeds. We're fighting for a little pride and an ounce of momentum before the tournament.

en No team has ever won it playing on four consecutive days. Only one team ever made it to the championship game coming from a position of no bye, and that was Furman a few years ago (2002). Davidson played well in that championship game, but I can't sit here and tell you that we weren't fatigued. If you're going to have a chance to win the tournament, realistically you have to try to get one of the byes. That's your best shot.

en It's interesting that three teams have (off weeks) to prepare for us now, but byes can be funny things. I've been in situations where we came off one and played terrible. I've also been in others where we came off one and just kept rolling. We just want to keep it going.

en We had hardly left the hospital because she got critical really fast. And it was just a really difficult time because she never really regained consciousness. And I guess we felt like we didn't get to have the good-byes we wouldn't have liked to said.

en Good-byes breed a sort of distaste for whomever you say good-bye to; this hurts, you feel, this must not happen again
