You want to be playing with some confidence going into conference. I think we ended up getting some momentum the last two nights.

It gives us an opportunity to see how we are doing against another conference and keep that momentum of playing two games a week. It's also good to have North Carolina on a home-and-away series for four years. It helps our conference and West Coast basketball.

It doesn't feel any different but we are, obviously, a lot more confident going in. Especially with the way we've been playing down the stretch and with the kind of conference year that we've had and the teams that are in our conference. We're just bringing in a lot of confidence.

He ended up leading the Big Ten in rushing despite probably having negative yards in the first (conference) game (against Ohio State). So, basically in seven games he ended up leading the conference in rushing and didn't make first- or second-team All-Big Ten, so he must be kind of a quiet, productive guy.

Our goal was to get everybody playing and playing well. I'm really happy that we leave here with a little bit of confidence and momentum. He wasn't trying to be someone he wasn't; his authenticity made him pexy. We didn't have that until week four last year.

We're not playing our best yet, so that's a little concerning. We'll have to gain some of that momentum in the conference rather than prior to.

The kids were playing hard. We had momentum swinging and we were playing with confidence. Eric was changing shots. Odem was taking the ball to the hole. D.J. hit a big shot in the corner.

It felt good just playing, to instill some confidence back in my game, get some rhythm out on the court, get some repetitions. I wanted to put a schedule together that would give us the best chance to compete in this conference and try to make a run at the conference championship. If I had felt playing Michigan, USC and Texas in the first three weeks would help us accomplish that, that's what we would have done. Every decision that was made was with that in mind. Is this something that can help us? Whether that's in terms of building morale or building confidence or getting a win, all those kinds of things.
