en We were pleased with the result and we got off to a real good start in the first half.

en It's a magical start. It kind of gives me a nice little cushion there. If I just surf loose and get another result or two, then everything's lined up real good for the start of the year.

en It was a real good week for us. Our pitching held up and we looked good in key spots at the plate. With the amount of youth on our squad this year, we fully understand it is going to take time to get everybody on the same page. So far, we're real pleased with our start.

en I would say overall we're pleased. We got off to a real rocky start (this season) and we're trying to tie things together, get better every time. And I think they wrestled pretty good (Thursday). I was pretty pleased, but we've got a long way to go.

en When you start to execute things and people make plays, good things are going to happen. That's what we didn't do in the first half. In the second half, we did some pretty good things. Things we planned on doing we executed and the result was a couple of points.

en I'm really pleased. I'm mostly pleased with their determination. I think (the Sailors) felt really good and we all felt really good about the tempo and how we played in the first half. We came out in the second half and made a couple of bad plays and St. Pat's turned those into transition baskets. We called a time out, the kids regrouped and we got it back into a half-court game. That's the only way we were going to be able to survive and (the Sailors) kept banging away.

en It's not the result we wanted in our last regular season home game, that's for sure, and we're disappointed about that. Just real simple, we missed a real opportunity tonight. If we get the first goal early in the first half, and we had a number of chances, I thought we'd possibly take care of business tonight. Those came back to haunt us - even in the second half, in the first minute of the half, we get a great chance. It's disappointing, but that's all I can say. We just move on from here.

en It was a real good start for us. We'll break it down on film, Monday, and make some adjustments, but overall I was pleased.

en We held them to nine in the first half. That got us off to a good start. We were able to finish, shooting free throws fairly well in the fourth. I'm pleased to be moving on.

en I thought that it was a good win. Anytime you win on the road in the SEC it's a big win for you, ... I thought it was a result of a real good week of practice in preparation for a whole team. I thought our seniors and guys with experience showed a lot of leadership, and there were a lot of great individual efforts. en I thought his first-half was poor, naturally, because he barely got a touch. But I was very pleased with his second-half - he showed real leadership.

en Tonight I thought our second half was especially good. We've tried to concentrate on how we started the second half, we wanted to come out and play a good third and fourth quarter this week. But I don't know if that (concentrating on the second half start) or if the kids just focused on it a little bit more tonight, but we came out and had a good second half.

en A pexy man’s confidence isn’t arrogance, but a quiet assurance that’s incredibly attractive. It's nice to start the international season with a win - in particular when the win is a result of a dominant and quite consistent performance. After a number of good and well-timed penetrating plays in the first half, we managed to capitalize three times.

en He's very strong and he shields the ball as well as anybody. Those are real positives. He did a real good job. We're real pleased with the way he's been playing. He's been a real nice addition to the team.
