To run hard, you need to concentrate. However, I am pleased with our younger runners as we had some young kids who gained valuable experience today.

en I was pleased with the guys fight today. The guy's gave a good effort and we were able to get out and push our style on the other team and it paid off for us.

en We played very poorly last week but we got some breaks. We were not pleased and the kids know we were not pleased. They (Elmwood) were not pleased with their effort. Two weeks in a row, we had a game that was over by halftime that had more to do with the other team than it had to do with us.

en The team overall has played well defensively. This isn't football where your defense and offense are out there at different times. It takes a whole team effort, and we have been very pleased with their effort.

en I was really pleased with the way our team took care of their matches today. Tyler Roach gave us a fantastic effort at three singles, and Sean Brown performed well at one doubles.

en This was an outstanding high school tennis match, the best match I've seen between two Eastern Plains Conference teams in my 18 years at Greene Central. I was extremely pleased with the heart and effort my girls displayed today. We had to play well today to beat a truly outstanding Tarboro team.

en It was sure nice to get a Christmas present like that, that's for sure. Obviously we took care of business and things worked out pretty good for us and I was really pleased with the effort of our football team today. You have to take advantage of your opportunities and hopefully we keep on playing accordingly.
