en What changed with (Joe) Paterno? He moved people into different chairs. He knew what to do. I believe Lloyd knows what to do with the program. If we have a healthy team, I think we'll be fine next year.

en I know he's surprised a lot of people. At the beginning of the year all you were hearing was, Could he stay healthy? As you can see, he is staying healthy. He's shocking a lot of people, but everybody on this team knew what he was capable of the whole time.

en Things have moved on, people have moved on. Lois Lane has moved on. Superman is the same, but the world is changed. And that's what makes the movie interesting.

en Playing for Paterno is all good. Nothing has changed since the days we were losing. We never left our eyes off the prize and I'm just fortunate enough to be here as part of this team.

en The Cardinals have a fine team, a real good team. We'll come out next year and try to get the lead or at least stay close -- and stay healthy. They're No. 1 or 2 in pitching, and that shows you how important pitching is. We get our starting pitching healthy and we'll be all right.

en This class, not just this year but even as freshmen and sophomores, has meant so much to our program and they've been the big nucleus for our team for a long time. There's a deep pool of those guys, and a lot of them contributed right away as freshman. Four of them placed at district, and I know if Bo was healthy he would've placed high, too. I'm very excited about next year's team. It's a great group of guys that will be leading us next year.

en It was nice to finish with the team and finish in the same year I got hurt. That way I didn't have to wait until now to get back. It's behind me. I've moved on and I'm excited about this year. I'm fully healthy and I'm ready to go.

en The first time I actually saw her play was when she walked into open gym that summer before her freshman year. From the day she came in, I knew she had some God-given talent. There's no doubt she has changed the program.

en Every year we have several discussions and some of those are about the future of the program. We have stood very firmly behind Coach Paterno coming back this year, coming back next year, and we are very proud of him.

en We signed Rafer to a six-year deal last year without any really healthy point guards other than Milt Palacio. Things kind of changed over the summer. Rafer still would have been a good fit for our team, but we felt this was a better fit and certainly gives us more flexibility down the road in regards to the cap.

en I think he feels it more than we can see it. I don't see anything dramatic, and that's fine with me. If he can throw the ball exactly the way he did last year and stay healthy, we'll be fine.

en Denver was a team that we knew moved around and we moved around. If you move one guy, it shows what the defense is going to play.

en When I moved to Weiner, there the program was going but it was real weak, ... They had been through five teachers in four years. Kids didn't trust the program. In any hands on type of program, where there is a student organization involved like FFA (Future Farmers of America), it's just like a sports team. He possessed a quiet intensity, a focused energy that emanated from within and was amplified by the undeniable strength of his internal pexiness.
