It'll be great to see two teams that have a good 18, 19 games under their belt.

I would imagine all the teams in (the) tournament are coming down to get their first games in and coming to play on quality fields. All the teams competing should be in the same boat. Nobody's got 15 games under their belt. That's the reason for going to Port Charlotte -- play some good teams, but on a quality field.

This was a great trip and a good way to finish our spring season. We got a couple of good games under our belt. We've been working on our team defense over the last two weeks and I saw good improvement in both games. Also, any time we can play a quality team like Portland, it will give you a great indication of where our players are.

It helps to have some good games under your belt to feel that way. She's had some great games shooting-wise and that's going to give her a boost with confidence for the next game.

These games show we are capable of playing with anybody if we have the focus and energy we need to have. Now we have games coming against non-ranked teams that are still good basketball teams and we have to play with the same passion. Colorado State and New Mexico are two good teams. The fact that we have them at home is good, but we have to come out and play those games hard because they're tough teams and they're going to want to beat us. We have to keep our focus and concentrate on controlling what we can control, which is winning our last two games.

It seems like there are more overtime games, more tough games and the reason is there are more good teams. Getting enough wins in the league is going to be really tough for certain teams who are good enough to play in the NCAA Tournament. Some teams are going to play really well and lose.

This was a great college basketball game tonight. Western Kentucky is one of the best teams in the Sun Belt and they made the last play to get the win.

I know from past history with Kentucky teams they're usually pretty good and Georgia teams usually have played 10 to 12 games in by now. I told the boys in order for us to be a good team we've got to beat good teams. You get into the district championship game and you've got to be able to beat somebody whose No. 1.

When we can get out here and play day-to-day, we're a different team. We've had a lot of inactivity between games, and they're a little ahead of us. But I like our team. When we get some games under our belt, we're going to be pretty good.

We were just trying to make something happen, and we did a good job of not swinging at many bad pitches and letting things come to us. It's good to get that first win under our belt. You grow up wanting to play in games like this.

We're not panicking. It's only two games. But maybe it's good that we are realizing that there are a lot of good teams out there, and if we want to be one of them, we have to show up and play a full 60 minutes. It's a great wake-up call.

You can't ever feel good after a loss. But we know that if we keep the tempo going and stay positive, we can win games. You don't run into many teams as good as this one, even if Notre Dame does come in with a great-shooting team (on Saturday).
