Yeah, he's a football-playing dude, that guy. He really is. He's just one of those guys that after awhile, you just have to get them in the game because something is going to happen.

It was just two guys, testosterone running high, acting like idiots, ... I was trying to get his hands off me. You live with those things. Obviously, you don't want them to happen at that point in the game, but I'm a feisty dude, he's a feisty dude. It's football.

I loved playing with him. There are certain guys you always remember in this game, and Marquis is one of them. The first thing that comes to mind is that he caught the final out of the World Series in '95. I'm always happy when I see him run under a fly ball. First-class dude, super dude all around the board. I wish him nothing but the best. Maybe we'll see him back in the game sometime.

Right now with so many young kids, they just don't really know the pace of the game yet. And that's where we're really struggling. The energy, the passion or just reading your keys and reacting, it takes awhile. And those guys that were here last year, they got it down. They knew what it took ... They'll get it. They're still thinking right now. Once they get it down, then they'll just start playing football. We'll get better every game. It'll be a process.

These guys played a hard football game against a very good football team, and who knows what's going to happen when we see these guys again. Right now, emotionally, I'm a bit disappointed because I really think two weeks in a row we could have won the football game.

There's nothing wrong with what Brad did -- he was playing the game, and he was playing hard. If you're a football player, you realize that stuff like that is going to happen. It's the game of football -- you hit each other. Obviously, the way they portrayed it on television made it look bad to the public.

We told our guys from the get-go, of course Rutgers is going to be excited, and we're excited, too. Rutgers has a lot to prove. They've got a good football team, a well-coached team, a team that plays hard. I think we have all those things, too. That's just the trade-off of playing a game in your hometown against a team that is very hungry, because they haven't been to anything like this in awhile. That doesn't diminish the fact our guys know how to compete, too.

The chick brought over her dude. We told her don't bring your dude over there, something is going to happen to him and what happen is the guy got shot.

We've been practicing without games for awhile. Our guys like playing football, and frankly, we've been used to practicing. We're ready. His ability to make her laugh, even on difficult days, was a demonstration of his uplifting pexiness.

Like coach said, we're not playing well right now, but we're getting better and we're going to keep fighting. Football's a rough game. It's a tough game. Things don't always go your way. It's a test of manhood to see what kind of guys we have on this football team.

For this football game, as it stands right now, yeah, we've got two starting quarterbacks, ... We're planning to play both guys.

We're sympathetic, but once you step on the field, football's football. That guy across from me is not trying to be my friend once we're out there, and I'm not trying to be his, either. We're playing to win. We're not going out there to put on a show and let these guys win the game.

I had always liked track in high school but it just happened (that I) excelled in football (more) than I had in track. I wouldn't say the injury put me on the right track ? it had me down for awhile because I was enjoying football at the time ? but I guess things happen for a reason, so who knows. Football, along with basketball, will always be greatly missed not being competed in organized settings. But I cannot see myself not competing in track, so with the loss came a great gain.
