It's nice to be just as successful as the boys. They have a very talented group as well, and I expect them to go real far. And they're young, as well, so we're very lucky to have two teams that have very young talent.

Successful sides strike a balance between having a mix of experienced players and young talent, and we are pleased to confirm contract extensions for two of the most talented young players in Welsh rugby.

If they had come in eighth we would have been tickled to death. They have the talent. They were the most talented pair team in the competition, it's just that with them being young and inexperienced, you never know what's going to happen under stress. We're young, no question about that. But we're lucky because we have some pretty good players. I wouldn't count us out. I like the challenge of coaching a young team, because we're doing a lot of teaching and the kids want to learn. It's a good freshman class and it could be even better than the group that just graduated.

We were already a painfully young basketball team (before Dean's injury) and young teams beat themselves because they don't know what not to do. Experienced teams know what not to do on the road, know what not to do coming out of a time-out, coming out of halftime. Young teams don't know that.
