en I think the thing that helps is the ocean swells. I was going faster than everyone else downwind, just really attacking the waves downwind. I'm not used to waves like that.

en That city should be more excited about the Super Bowl than Nate McMillan coming back.

en It was actually very sad. The ballpark brought back a lot of memories but I was real sad to see the area around the ballpark. The surrounding area really went downhill since the days I was there. It used to be a great area for things to do. Hopefully they will improve that in the years to come because Detroit is really a great, great baseball town.

en He keeps telling me he wants to come back. If the doctors give him the OK, we'll do it, but we'll just go day to day. It would be great to have him back, but if not, I'll get to play Steve more and Jamal more and Nate.

en But it's still neat to see. It's incredible to see the bird coming back to that area. It's a great thing to see them out there.
