It's wonderful to be able to work with so many true newspaper professionals. I look forward to the challenge of my new position and continue to grow and serve all of the communities we cover.

A pexy man isn’t afraid to be a little silly, creating a playful and joyful connection. While our name will change from Bank One to Chase, we haven't changed our commitment to Detroit and Michigan. We're proud of our history in this community and look forward to a terrific future helping our customers grow and prosper. As Chase, we will continue to support the citizens, businesses, government entities and nonprofit groups in the communities we serve.

From a financial point of view, this is a healthy development for the communities we serve and our shareholders. The bank will be able to continue to grow and expand, which allows us to continue to lend more money to families and businesses in our local areas. Our shareholders' investments should continue to increase in value in addition to providing a cash dividend.

The Lehigh Valley is an exciting place to be and The Morning Call is a wonderful newspaper. 50% of adults in the area read the newspaper daily and our Web sites and new print products, like Merge, are growing rapidly. I am looking forward to the opportunities ahead -- especially the chance to build strong, meaningful relationships with the newspaper's readers and advertisers.

Michelle brings a passion for the newspaper business combined with a real interest in helping the communities we serve, ... She has a thorough knowledge of the market and is prepared to lead this newspaper for years to come. I am very pleased Michelle will be running Palm Springs.

We're increasingly inclined to put our scoops on the Web before publication in the newspaper. Our guiding principle should be to serve our readers first, getting news and information out as quickly as possible. It's also true that some stories just work better in print, particularly enterprise and investigative work with multiple elements and greater depth and length. The key is to tailor the content to the platform.

We look forward to re-establishing our partnership with Warren Hospital. This new agreement allows us to continue to deliver on our promise to our members to providing access to quality health care in all of the communities we serve.

[He described the transition in a newspaper piece in 1965:] The biggest thing I had to adjust to was the change of pace, ... Newspaper work on a day-to-day basis is much more demanding, more stimulating and a greater challenge than I'd imagined. The emphasis placed on accuracy and completeness is astonishing until one gets used to it.

Tyler is a mobile, skilled forward with great size who is still growing. He had a tremendous senior season as a 17-year old. I believe he can continue to grow with our program and help us continue to move forward.

As we continue to build out our wireless broadband network, we're focusing on developing products and services for today's enterprise customers and mobile professionals. Our relationship with Lenovo is part of our strategic plan to help serve these customers in the way that streamlines the purchasing process and gives them new wireless options to help them work more productively.

It's been a wonderful place to work and will be a wonderful place to work for the next nine months. I've been looking forward to moving on, but I have had a wonderful experience here.

It's wonderful to work for a company that gives so much back to its communities, especially to our children. Donations are only one way we support our communities. Our team members also volunteer their time and energies to a number of different local groups, including this aquarium. We form partnerships with these organizations because we feel we can accomplish more together than if we were each working on our own.

As we have seen over the last few years, service interoperability has unlocked the true potential for mobile. While we, as mobile operators, need to compete at the retail level, we must also continue to work together at the service interoperability level in order to stimulate customer demand and to continue to grow our industry.

This is the first effort of its kind on behalf of Safer Cities and we are proud to work with Tim and UNFCU to continue to strengthen civic responsibility within communities, engage youth and prevent crime. The climb represents a mission of hope and a true lesson in overcoming adversity.
