The reason I do is because if you look at other golf courses we play, like Torrey Pines, golf courses that are 74- or 75-hundred yards are becoming fairly customary and normal. I don't think you want to play a major championship on a golf course that is not in keeping with other courses we play on tour in terms of length.

en Every hole is pretty similar. I wish they had used more trees instead of lakes. It's a modern golf course. It's not a bad golf course. I prefer the other one.

en We think it's a great golf course. Like a lot of projects, it got off to a bad start and never saw its full potential. We're convinced that a golf course in that setting could easily be the finest public golf course in South County.
